Pioneer has a great reputation in the home theater world and this time the company releases a new network-enabled 3D Blu-Ray player that’s bound to excite the fans.

The Pioneer BDP-140 is a 3D Blu Ray Player with network and wireless capabilities. The BDP-140 will play 1080p 3D Blu-Ray discs as well as DVD, SACD, CDs and regular Blu-Ray discs. That’s good news because you’ll still be able to play your old movie collection with the BDP-140 from Pioneer.

There’s strong audio support coming with the BDP-140 3D Blu-Ray player as well. This Pioneer Blu-Ray player is also able to decode high definition audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and Super Audio CD. The BDP-140 uses its HDMI 1.4a on-board to transmit Full HD 3D images to your big screen TV and is also able to handle formats such as DivX HD and DivX Plus HD(MKV/H.264) up to 1080p.

Panasonic DMP-BDT110 3D Blu-Ray Player Review

Panasonic has introduced its 3D Blu-Ray player line-up back in January at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. Panasonic’s 2011 line-up includes three new models, namely the DMP-BDT110, DMP-BDT210 and the DMP-BDT310. The Panasonic DMP-BDT110 is the entry-level model of the 2011 line from Panasonic but it sure doesn’t look like it.

Samsung D9500 75-inch 3D LED TV

Samsung has just announced their new 3D LCD TV by the name of D9500. The D9500 is a 3D LCD TV with LED backlight and impresses with a whooping 75-inches in screen size. Bad news is that you will still need to wear active shutter 3D glasses to view the next 3D movie, as this display is based in active 3D technology.

The panel features 1080p and a 240-Hz refresh rate as well as edge lighting. The Smart TV features are also present with the D9500 which will allow users to connect wirelessly to the Internet to browse websites, make Skype video calls or take advantage of the growing range of Samsung apps available right now.

The company plans to sell the D9500 for $17,600, just in Korea for now.

LG D2342P 3D HD monitor now available for pre-order

LG has introduced it’s two new 3D HD monitors just las week and we’ve covered them yesterday on hometheaterinsider.net.

The good news is that the 23-inch LG D2342P model is now available for pre-order on amazon.com. This 3D monitor is able to playback your high definition media in 1920×1080 resolution and features 100:1 contrast ratio. LG introduces LCD technology with this display as well as passive 3D technology. In terms of connectivity, the LG D2342P 3D HD monitor offers DVI, HDMI and RGB ports.

There’s no word about the other models of the line, however, the D2342 is now available for pre-order on amazon.com for $350.

LG D41P and D42P Cinema 3D monitors

LG had come forward with its Cinema 3D monitors back in january at the CES in Las Vegas. Now, it’s time for LG to introduce this couple offically to the market. The LG D41P and LGD42P monitor ranges come with Cinema 3D meaning passive 3D technology.

Gamers will be overjoyed by this release as it means easier 3D gaming without the need for expensive active 3D shutter glasses. Cinema 3D will also provide users with a much more pleasant experience without eye strain or flicker with the use of regualr 3D polarized glasses sold in your regular movie cinema.

As for the features, there’s talk about sizes of 2.1 and 25 inches with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution as well as 2D to 3D conversion and 5ms response time.

The LG D41P and D42P will be on the market in June 2011, the prices are yet to be announced.

Mitsubishi RDT233WX. the 23-inch IPS/3D monitor

The new RDT233WX from Mitsubishi is a new IPS/3D monitor featuring passive 3D technology and cheaper poarized glasses. This 23-inch display comes with an IPS panel and LED backlight, a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution as well as a 3.8 ms response time.

Acer has introduced its newest 3D-capable monitor measuring 27-inches and coming with Full HD capabilities as well. The HN274H is a LED backlit display featuring 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and a HDMI 1.4 port on-board for 3D support. Other features for the Acer HN274H monitor include a 16:9 aspect ratio, 2ms response time, 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio as well as a built-in IR-emitter. You can use this 3D monitor as a HDTV and connect it to your 3D Blu-Ray player.
