Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 flagship model available for pre-order
When Sony showcased their 2011 line at the CES in Las Vegas back in January, the range that attracted the most attention was the HX929. The HX929 is Sony’s flagship model for 2011, featuring the latest technologies on the market and Sony’s branded monolithic design.
The Sony XBR55HX929 is a 3D-ready HDTV and comes in 55-inches screen size, featuring the new Intelligent Peak LED technology to ensure the best image quality as well as a high contrast. The technology introduces an array of LED lights to adjust black and white levels in all areas of the screen.
The Motionflow XR960 technology, on the other hand, allows the HX929 to reduce the blur and enhance the sharpness of those fast moving images and eliminate motion blur almost entirely.
Another interesting feature for the XBR55HX929 is the X-Reality PRO Engine which renders incredible detail through multi-frame and adds pixel-by-pixel analysis for each scene. The X-Reality feature will add high level of details and optimal color even in low-resolution web videos.
Users will also be able to connect their digital camera. MP3 player or USB storage device to share their favorite media or enjoy it on the large screen.
The Sony XBR55HX929 introduces the new and improved Bravia Internet Video platform, to allow users access to popular Internet streaming services such as Netflix, Qriocity, Hulu Plus or Pandora. There’s also a social side to the XBR55HX929, which adds Internet widgets that allow you to share your favorite media on Twitter or Facebook and even high-definition video chat on Skype.
The Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 is one of the high-end HDTVs coming this year and is now available for pre-order on amazon.com for $3,799.
