Sharp 40LE830U, 46LE830U, 52LE830U and 60LE830U coming in April 2011

Sharp has announced today their new flat panel TV model for 2011, which has been dubbed LE830. Sharp didn’t reveal much about its new HDTV at CES 2011, but prefered to wait until the right time to reveal its new addition to the company line-up.
The new Sharp LE830 replaces the 2010 model, the LE820 in the company’s line-up and is prepared to hit the market in April. The LE830 impresses its audience coming in an extremely slim design featuring LED backlight, Smart TV capabillities and WiFi, for wireless connectivity to your home network.
Sharp introduces an extremely thin design with its LE830 model, with the aid of the new Edge LED technology which has helped it reach an impressive 2.5 cm in size. Aside from the minimalist design, the LE830 comes with high-end features such as a 200/240 Hz scanning backlight system, Sharp’s Quattron panel as well as the Smart TV capabilites.
The Smart TV feature from Sharp will allow users to access populat Internet streaming services such as Netflix, CinemaNow and VUDU as well as the brand new Video Store service which allows users to purchase movies and other media to watch on their new Sharp LE830.
The Sharp LE830 wll become available in 40, 46, 52 and 60-inches and have been named 40LE830U, 46LE830U, 52LE830U and 60LE830U, respectively. As for the price tags, these new Sharp flat screen HDTVs will run for $1,299, $1,499, $1.899 and $2,799, respectively, in April and May 2011. There is also talk about a 70-inch Sharp LE830 model which will become available in September of 2011.
