The high-end Panasonic VT30 series replaces last year’s “Best of Show Product” award winner, the VT25 series. The VT30 series will become available for purchase in April/May 2011 in two sizes, the 55-inch Panasonic TC-P55VT30 and the 65-inch Panasonic TC-P65VT30. The two, THX certified, VT30 models will feature Panasonic’s sheet-of-glass, slim design, along with 600Hz subfield motion technology for full 3D HD support and Viera Connect IPTV to allow users access to the most important Internet streaming services.

Panasonic has also announced an updated video processing unit with the VT30 models, which will help reduce crosstalk. The deeper blacks are achieved with the new VT30 series, through a new company technology, the Infinite Black Pro 2, as well as better ambient filters.
