To further consolidate its position, Netflix announced their intention to offer up to $100k per new TV episode. If the proposal is accepted by TV networks, it’s expected that Neflix will become the main streaming service. Netflix will be able to stream a new TV episode the day after it’s aired on TV, which would be a huge step forward.
Now it’s just a matter of negotiating terms with the TV networks.
